Technology specialist Peakwork is increasing its focus on further developing its price comparison system for travel agencies, Peakwork SET. The software enables access to the complete inventory of offer data of the leading tour operators within the Peakwork systems and, with its extensive search and filter functions, is fully tailored to the needs of stationary travel agencies. Following the successful launch of Peakwork SET this year, the predecessor software Travelviewer will be completely replaced by the new consulting solution on October 1, 2023.
Peakwork SET was developed specifically for the demands and requirements of travel agencies. Working closely with numerous travel agents who have been testing the system since last year, valuable feedback has been gathered and has since been incorporated into further development. Through SET, Peakwork provides access to an unbeatably broad and diverse portfolio of package and hotel-only offers, which originate from the systems of the leading tour operators in the DACH market, who work with Peakwork Player Hub Technology. Maximum detailed search and filter functions are based on this considerable volume of offer data, offering new and clear comparison options, for example, according to DRV GlobalTypes or the multi-room search with individual room and board options.
Travelviewer, which was available to travel agencies free of charge for many years, will now be shut down on October 1, 2023. The decision to replace the outdated program in favor of Peakwork SET allows Peakwork to optimally focus its resources on the further development and improvement of the new price comparison system.

Peakwork SET is characterized by the new consulting approach: Pre-selected hotel sets can be saved, taking into account the individual preferences of specific customer target groups. This allows travel agents to start consulting immediately with a wide selection of suitable travel alternatives. The ability to share hotel sets among travel agency colleagues makes the program particularly attractive for career changers in the tourism industry. The detailed search options, such as DRV GlobalTypes search, multi-room search with individual room and board options, and direct display of total travel prices are also among the system's advantages. In addition, web-based access allows the program to be used on numerous devices without prior software installation.
